Typical, the minute you buy a new gadget (AmpKit link) that does the same thing, only better, as another gadget you already had (iRig) a third and even cooler gadget appears. March 31 the Apogee Jam is released, a guitar interface for iPhone, iPad and Mac. All reviews I have ever read on Apogee’s stuff have been raves, so I’m sure this is going to be a hit. I’ll console myself with the fact that at $99 it’s double the price of the AmpKit link and that it probably won’t work with Windows machines anyway.
